Alden Fletcher then gave the Yellowjacket (3-5, 2-3) their only score of the game when his 61-yard dash got them within 14-6. Fletcher led Sheridan with 98 yards on 15 carries while filling in for usual starter Tyler Cole, who left the game with an injury. Cole had just two carries for 9 yards.

Bishop then returned a punt 46 yards for his third touchdown of the game and, after another Johnson two-point run, Pine Bluff led 22-6.

Martavious Alford and Hakeem Stewart also scored on runs of 17 and 6 yards, respectively, to give Pine Bluff the 36-6 halftime lead.
